"Your the Bomb" Valentine!!
buy 3 rolls of candy like "rolos" or "mentos" and wrap with red paper or tissue paper. I used the fuzzy bendy thingys in craft center hahaha forgot name of them.... But super easy to do!
The mentos candy cost btwn $1.50 to $3 dollars total depending where you buy it and the length of the candy... Dollar store has each piece for around 50 cents and walmart had longer ones for 75 cents a piece... Hope that tidbit helps! =)
Cinnamon Apple Pancake Rings!!! Yummmy!
Ingredients: 1/2 cup dry pancake mix (& add desired water for mix),
3 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 apple
1-2 tablespoons of cinnamon
1 cup of water
**(10 to 15 minutes prep & cook time!)
I mixed the dry pancake mix with desired water for a not too thick mixture. I added the sugar and vanilla extract to the pancake batter. I then peeled an apple, cut in about 1 cm slices, and cut the circle in the middle of the slices to take harder core out. I then placed the slices of apple in a nonstick pan, added the cinnamon on each slice (desired amt), and added the cup of water to pan. Let the apple slices sizzle on med-low (high enough for evaporation to occur for water). When the apple slices are softer and a slight tan color pull them out of the pan and rinse out pan for next step. Dip the apple slices in the pancake batter and cook them similar to regular pancakes! And Tah Dah!
FYI: when apple pancakes are cooking on last step, watch carefully to not let them get too dark, it tastes awesome when the outside cooked color is btwn light light brown and a light brown.
Homemade Magnets!!!
Easy to make!!! I found diff shapes/flowers etc from arts & crafts section, they are foam stickers. I stuck foam stickers on soft foam background and Cut around each design to my desire. I found magnet strip that is super long and cut into desired lengths and the magnet strip had a sticky side to attach to back... If needed use hot glue gun or super glue!
Simple Flower Display
Sooo easy to make! I used a clear vase I already owned.... wire cutters needed to clip desired fake flowers from main stem... I got supplies at local Wal-Mart, but sure they can be found at other similar locations. In the Flower isle.... there is small pellets that when placed in water for 4 hours they soak up water and are the soft gel balls. It only takes one package (less than $2). I filled up vase 3/4 way up w pat-dried gel balls then placed cut flowers in where I desired (carefully to not break/damage gel balls) then filled up rest of vase with remaining gel balls and Vahla! Quick, easy and Beautiful! :) project cost me a total of about $10 to $15...
