Ingredients: 1/2 cup dry pancake mix (& add desired water for mix),
3 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 apple
1-2 tablespoons of cinnamon
1 cup of water
**(10 to 15 minutes prep & cook time!)
I mixed the dry pancake mix with desired water for a not too thick mixture. I added the sugar and vanilla extract to the pancake batter. I then peeled an apple, cut in about 1 cm slices, and cut the circle in the middle of the slices to take harder core out. I then placed the slices of apple in a nonstick pan, added the cinnamon on each slice (desired amt), and added the cup of water to pan. Let the apple slices sizzle on med-low (high enough for evaporation to occur for water). When the apple slices are softer and a slight tan color pull them out of the pan and rinse out pan for next step. Dip the apple slices in the pancake batter and cook them similar to regular pancakes! And Tah Dah!
FYI: when apple pancakes are cooking on last step, watch carefully to not let them get too dark, it tastes awesome when the outside cooked color is btwn light light brown and a light brown.
